Theatre, Interpretation and Dance - Central Michigan University seeks 
applications for Full-time Tenure-track position in Theatre, 
Interpretation, and Dance.  Begin:  August 2007.  Teaching load will 
consist of 12 semester hours each term.  Specifically, the position 
entails the following: (1) teaching coursework in theatre history, 
theatre appreciation, and other areas of candidate's specialty; (2) 
directing in the University Theatre production program or scholarly 
research/publication; (3) student advising and serving on various 
committees.  Qualifications:  Ph.D. in Theatre Arts; ABD candidates 
considered. Background in theatre history, theatre appreciation; 
evidence of teaching effectiveness; and excellence in directing or 
scholarly activity.  Send: (1) current vita; (2) three recent 
confidential letters of recommendation (one or more that speak to 
excellence in directing); and (3) evidence of teaching 
effectiveness--preferably student opinion scores from courses that you
